It is worth recalling that starting from September 9, 2016, the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control has banned the supply of diesel fuel to the territory of Ukraine. In the coming days, this organization will present a similar decision to stop the supply of liquefied gas to the territory of Ukraine. What served for such restrictions and when exactly such measures will be introduced is not yet known.

As the statistics of Ukrainian fuel resources show, 51% of the liquefied gas market in Ukraine consists of Russian gas supplies. Since July, Ukraine has already experienced a shortage of liquefied gas due to interruptions in supplies from the territory of Russia. As a result of the shortages, the retail gas price began to grow up to UAH 21,400 / t (about $ 800). Although even before the interruptions, the price was 12,000 UAH / ton (about $ 477). According to indicators at retail gas stations, as of September 14, the price of liquefied gas was almost 13 UAH / liter. Such networks as OKKO and WOG sell at UAH 12.99 / liter, Soccar at UAH 12.98 / liter, and BRSM-Nafta - UAH 12.95 / liter. If we take for comparison the prices before the rise in price, then on average it ranged from 8.5 UAH / l to 11 UAH / l.

Many experts say that the interruption of supplies may cause a strong rise in prices if no similar suppliers from Europe or the near abroad are found. To the extent that after the closure of the supply of liquefied gas from Russia, deliveries will begin through the South, namely through seaports, from the territory of different countries. They wanted to practice this for a long time, but there was no point in starting the project, but now, against the background of successive bans, they are thinking about the supply of fuel and lubricants through the sea route.
