Not so long ago, Ford introduced a new generation of the legendary Bronco SUV, which was no longer produced more than 30 years ago. The car was simultaneously presented in three versions: the classic 3-door, the new 5-door, as well as the Sport configuration with 5 doors. Now a statement and a photo have appeared that a Ford Bronco in the back of a pickup truck may enter the market in the near future. In fact, this is the main competitor of the new Jeep Gladiator, which was also presented recently.
According to company representatives, the Ford Bronco Kipak should be officially shown in 2024. On the other hand, many car enthusiasts claim that the new product will appear in 2022, respectively, the market for a serial SUV should be expected in 2023. Like the usual Ford Bronco, the new pickup will be offered to the buyer with two gasoline engines. The first is a turbocharged 4-ka EcoBoost family with a volume of 2.3 liters. The power of the unit is 273 horses and 420 Nm of torque. The pair will be installed 7-speed mechanics or 10-speed automatic.
The second engine is a turbocharged V6 EcoBoost with a volume of 2.7 liters. The power of such a unit is 314 horses, and the maximum torque is 542 Nm. Unlike the first unit, only a 10-speed automatic works in tandem here. It is possible that over time, the list will include a petrol V8 from Ford, with a volume of 5.0 liters. Presumably, it will be installed on the top-end configuration of the Ford Bronco pickup, and it will most likely work in tandem with the same 10-speed automatic.
Regarding the configuration of the Ford Bronco pickup, it will most likely be the same as the classic Bronco 5-door with a removable roof. The pickup will inherit the off-road package and the GOAT travel mode selection system. Many are already talking that the First Edition pickup package will be the first to hit the market. As expected, the circulation will be small. Still, comparing with the fact that the new Ford Bronco First Editon has released 2 times more copies than planned, they can do the same in a pickup truck. For the price, most likely the start will be more than $ 60,000 in the limited version, the basic configuration will cost from $ 30,000.
