Another wave of malfunctions occurred on the cars of the Japanese company Mazda, more precisely on the Mazda 6 model. According to the manufacturer, 8090 cars of this model sold in Russia from 2002 to 2008 should be recalled to the service center. First generation Mazda 6 (GG) cars fall under this recall, the reason for the recall was airbags, passenger and driver, which can provoke irreversible injuries instead of protection.
According to Rosstandart, the manufacturer has already agreed on a recall and service program to be carried out by the company's official representatives in Russia. The cause of this malfunction of the Mazda 6 was the influence of high humidity, as a result of which the integrity of the gas generator housing for the front airbags is compromised.
The hull cracks and, after being triggered, "can" shoot small metal fragments towards the passenger and driver.
