The knocked down and dynamic profile sports a domed roofline, sleek sidewalls, swirling wheel arches and a billowing window line. For the car, exclusive light alloy wheels with a diameter of 18-19 inches are offered.

The sedan's expressive stern flaunts large side light shades, interconnected by a thin chrome insert, as well as a monumental bumper, which for obvious reasons is devoid of exhaust pipes.

The second row of seats offers a huge amount of free space in all directions, thanks to which three adult riders can sit here. True, the relatively high central tunnel and the molding of the seats neatly hint that only two people will be able to sit as comfortably here as possible.

The trunk volume is 485 liters as standard, which is rightfully considered a very decent indicator in the class. With the second row of seats folded down, the driver can expect up to 1,650 liters of volume. The only thing that saddens a little is that the seats lowered to the floor do not form a flat loading area.

At the heart of the hybrid version of the Skoda Superb iV 2020 is the "trolley" of its civil modification, which has managed to prove itself perfectly on the models of the previous generation.

The car is set in motion by means of a 1.4-liter 156-horsepower gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor with a capacity of 115 liters. with .. By the way, a similar symbiosis of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor is used in the Volkswagen Passat GTE.


The ultimate power of such a bundle is 218 "horses" and 400 Nm of torque, which are transmitted to the wheels by means of a 6-speed "robot" with a DSG dual clutch system. The car can turn off the gasoline engine and move exclusively on electric traction - the power reserve will be 55 km.

The electric motor is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 13 kW / h, which, when using a 3.6 kW charging station, allows you to fully charge the battery in 3.5 hours.

The manufacturer has not disclosed the exact dynamic characteristics of the model, such as fuel consumption, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h and maximum speed, but knowing the company, these figures will be more than decent.

According to the statements of the company representatives, with a full tank of gasoline (which is slightly less than that of its non-hybrid relatives) and a fully charged battery, the car can cover up to 850 km. The steering is represented by an advanced electric booster, and the braking system is represented by powerful brakes with ventilation function.

In some European markets, the first sales of the model started at the end of 2019, but the Skoda Superb iV will definitely not reach the domestic market. The minimum price of the flagship plug-in hybrid starts at 41.59 thousand eurosfor which the buyer receives:
